To build a strong, cooperative relationship between parents, teachers, and staff to fulfill the educational potential for every student.

NC PTA Mission:

To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

National PTA Mission:

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children. To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of our nation.

Goals:

Educate the RMS community of the connection between the dollars raised and the enrichment we are able to provide because of those dollars: instructional materials to classrooms, books to the Media Center, support of student programs. teacher/staff appreciation and assisting with community outreach. 

Execute a communications plan that reaches students, parents, teachers/staff, plus the Rolesville/Wake Forest/Raleigh communities. to foster stronger relationships.

Encourage student, teacher/staff, parent engagement and involvement at RMS, ensuring that every family, volunteer, teacher/staff feels supported and recognizes that he/she is part of the larger RMS / RMS PTA vision.
